A Personal Commitment to Cancer Research

I founded Surturban from a deeply personal place which grew and became shaped by my sister’s cancer journey and the profound impact it had on our family. Walking alongside someone you love through illness teaches you about resilience in its quietest forms, the importance of dignity during vulnerable moments, and the power of compassion—both given and received.

This spring, I will be running the Boston Marathon to raise awareness for cancer research and to support the life-saving work of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. For me, this race is more than 26.2 miles—it is a tribute to every patient, caregiver, and researcher who shows up every day with strength and hope.

Through Surturban, I have committed to giving back in a tangible way. For a limited time, a portion of proceeds from each qualifying purchase will be donated by Surturban directly to Dana-Farber, supporting cancer research, patient care, and innovation. This initiative reflects my belief that businesses can—and should—play a role in creating meaningful impact.

Running has always been a source of healing and clarity for me. Combining that passion with Surturban’s mission allows me to channel awareness, advocacy, and action into something larger than myself.

I am honored to stand with Dana-Farber, with the cancer community, and with everyone who believes that progress begins when we move forward—together.
